Buchrod

The Buchrod is a parcel on which we planted, in 2005, the seven Alsatian grape varieties. This parcel is located on a clayed-limestone and sandstone soil, close to the Lippelsberg terroir and below the Pfingstberg Grand Cru.

An outstanding wine

Thanks to a high planting density and a very low yield, this wine combines both freshness and a rare complexity. It will evolve all along the tasting and develop its aromatic palette.

The complantation

Complantation conflicts with the Alsatian tradition which usually spotlights the grape varieties. It favours the terroir’s and the vintage’s expression by shading the characteristics of the grape varieties that compose this wine.
